Meet Clay Enger, ABR, CRS, GRI

Clay Enger is a REALTOR® with extensive experience and success in the Lubbock, Texas area real estate market.  A graduate of Texas Tech University (BBA, Marketing) he strives to maintain an awareness of the needs of Lubbock home sellers and buyers.

After joining Coldwell Banker Rick Canup, REALTORS®, Inc. in 1992, Clay has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer and ranks in the top 3% of over 100,000 Coldwell Banker agents internationally, as well as the 2004 Top 10 of over 600 REALTORS® locally (source: Lubbock Assoc. of REALTORS® MLS data).

Clay continually builds a reputation of reliability and dedication to his clients. He goes to great lengths in counseling his clients to the greatest degree of detail in order to reach their ultimate goal of a timely sale or smooth purchase.  A real estate transaction is no small occurence. It is not accomplished without much thought and planning and is an event that has far reaching effects on the furture planning and finances of his clients.

Clay always desires to answer the client's question even before being asked.  With that effort, Clay puts his client at ease with the transaction. You will notice a common thread through the transaction when working with Clay... He can be counted on to be totally honest.  To him, there is no other option.  He can be trusted to sell your home. That is evident by the fact that over 85% of Clay's clients have worked with him before, are personal acquaintances, or have been personally recommended to him.

Clay has received the Coldwell Banker International President's Elite or President's Circle award each year since 1995. He has served two terms as Director with the Lubbock Association of REALTORS® as well as a term as Parliamentarian.

Education is essential to Clay and he has taken steps to be ahead of the knowledge curve by achieving the GRI (Graduate of the REALTORS Institute, the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designations. He continually attends Coldwell Banker and other real estate related courses in order to continually improve his service to his clients.

Clay's staff consists of Hannah-Joy Metzler as Marketing Coordinator and wife, Kristyn, as Internet Marketing Director. They both share Clay's vision for serving the client's need to the greatest degree.

Clay is a die-hard Red Raider and has spent many years rooting for any team wearing the scarlet and black.  He had the opportunity for several years to work with the Committee for Champions, a grass roots Texas Tech University support group.  He's been known for his "bulldogged" determination for getting things done and has been credited, with the support of the Committee, with renaming two Lubbock streets.   "Red Raider Avenue" gave way to the SBC Jones Stadium expansion yet the  "Drive of Champions" continues to reflect a positive image for Texas Tech University as it winds its way through the Texas Tech University campus.

Clay and Kristyn are active members of Trinity Church in Lubbock.  They have assisted in teaching the Marriage Preparation class. Clay has served on the Missions Outreach Committee and currently serves as a Deacon.

Clay and Kristyn enjoy traveling, yard and pool work but their focus and priorities shifted in 2004 due to being blessed with their first child, The Lord placed in their care, Annika Brook, born January 11.
